Section 4(1)(b)(viii)
Statement of the boards, councils, committees and other bodies consisting of two or more persons constituted as its part or for the purpose of its advice, and as to whether meetings of those boards, councils, committees and other bodies are open to the public, or the minutes of such meetings are accessible for public

In terms of rules regulating the staff negotiating machinery as incorporated in chapter XXVI of IREC Volume –I a staff council with nominated officers and 17 elected members and 1 co-opted SC/ST member has been constituted to hold quarterly meetings with a view to discuss the matters on staff grievances and policy decision in the local area to provide benefit to the employees of CLW.  

            There are various sub committees such as Promotion Avenue Committee, Quarters Allotment Committee, Accident Prevention Committee etc for discussion on related agendas pertaining to that committee of the shop and minutes of the committee meeting are published regularly for implementation of decision.

 Section 4(1)(b)(ix)
Directory of Personnel officers and employees of combined “P” Branch
 

Directory of Personnel officers and employees of combined “P” Branch are maintained bill unit wise by the Pay Bill Section. The Bill units are 810, 740, 710, 711, 811, 741, 009 etc 

Section 4(1)(b)(xi)
The budget allocated to each of the agency of Personnel Department, indicating the particulars of all plans, proposed expenditures and reports on disbursements made
 

Staff Benefit Fund is maintained by Personnel Branch and the following disbursements are made from this one. Per capita grant is Rs.30/-

1.         Higher education for children & employees

2.         Funeral assistance

3.         Holiday camp

4.         Canteen subsidy

5.         Purchase of crockery for canteen

6.         Book grant for Railway institutes

7.         Subsidy for providing artificial denture, spectacles

8.         Assistance to sick employees in distress

9.         Assistance to the Railway Community Center

10.        Assistance for school sports

11.        Running Homeopathic and Aurvedic center

12.        Running library at KG Hospital

13.        Recreation for employees & supervisors 

Section 4(1)(b)(xii)
The manner of execution of subsidy programmes, including the amounts allocated and the details of beneficiaries of such programmes 

The following subsidy programmes are executed from Staff Benefit Fund maintained at Personnel Branch-

1.Holiday Camp for employees of CLW. Allocated amount Rs.55000/-

2.Higher education for children of employees. Allocated amount Rs.48000/-

3.Subsidy for providing artificial denture, spectacles. Allocated amount Rs.20000/-

4.Running of canteen and supply of eatables. Allocated amount Rs.50000/- 

Section 4(1)(b)(xiii)
Particulars of recipients of concessions, permits or authorisations granted by Personnel Department
 

Normal subsidised concessions in respect of various allotted funds are distributed in proportionate ratio and the same is being received by the supervisors and staff of Personnel Branch as per their eligibility and seniority. 

Section 4(1)(b)(xv)
The particulars of facilities available to citizens for obtaining information, including the working hours of a library or reading room, if maintained for public use
 

There are 4 institutes and 8 community centers in Chittaranjan where separate library and reading rooms are maintained for public use. The information in consolidated book form is available in these institutes and libraries run by the administration. The working hours for these libraries and reading rooms are as follows – 

            Morning shift – 7.30 hrs to 9.30 hrs

            Evening shift – 6PM to 9 Pm
