 SECTION 4 (1)(B)(ii) 

POWER AND DUTIES OF CIVIL ENGINEERING OFFICERS & STAFF 

CEE (I&L) 

He is responsible –  

·        to co-ordinate with customer and respective HODs in respect of complaints/feedback and advising customer regarding the corrective and preventive action.

·        supply of Spares after product delivery to Railways.

·        as overall in-charge of power supply from Central Power House and distribution.

·        as overall in-charge of Civil Engineering Works and Maintenance.

·        as overall in-charge of TTC and Telecom Department.

·        to identify the training needs of personnel under his control.

·        to ensure compliance of warranty terms of purchased items with suppliers after product delivery to the Railways. 

SECTION 4(1)(b)(ii) 

POWER AND DUTIES OF ENGINEERING OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF ENGINEERING BRANCH 

DY. Chief Engineer (M) 

He holds responsibility - 

     To look after the maintenance work of CLW & up keep of town maintenance. 

     To look after the establishment matter of employees of Civil Engineering Department. 

To make plan & estimates for different type of maintenance work & got them sanctioned from the authority of Railway Board as required. 

     To assist CEE (I&L) in discharging his responsibility 

To float Tender for Civil Engineering maintenance & construction work of CLW & taking approval for the same from higher authority if needed. 

SECTION 4 (1) (b) (ii) 

POWER AND DUTIES OF ENGINEERING OFFICER AND EMPLOYEES OF ENGINEERING BRANCH 

AEN-I 

He holds responsibility – 

To look after the Civil Engineering Maintenance Work under jurisdiction of SSE (W)/Colony-I & SSE (W)/Colony - III i.e. S. P. East, S. P. North, Hill Colony, Hospital colony, Simjuri Colony, Fatehpur Colony & Officers Colony’s staff Qrs., drain, roads etc. 

To look after the Civil Engineering maintenance work in COS Office/Kolkata, ACOS Office/ Howrah, Officers rest house at Park Street & Offices & Subordinate rest house at Majerhat/Kolkata. 

To look after the establishment work involved under the purview of AEN. 

SECTION 4 (1) (b) (ii) 

Power and Duties of Engineering Officers and employees of Engineering Branch 

AEN-II 

He holds responsibility- 

To look after the work in Civil Engineering Maintenance work of SSE (W)/Colony-II of Amladahi area 4, area 5 & area 6 and also the work involved with P. Way Work in CLW Workshop siding and RNPR connecting. 

To look after the establishment work involved under AEN concern.
