Chittaranjan Locomotive
Works/Chittaranjan is manufacturing Electric Locomotives of type
WAG-7 and WAG-9 for freight, traffic and WAP-4, WAP-7 and WAP-5
for passenger traffic and is in need of capable and competent
vendors having wide experience in fabrication of stainless
steel, MS steel panels, wiring and assembly of different control
panels consisting of different electrical switchgears and
equipments procured from approved sources for manufacture of
control panels like AC-2, BA
Panels, HB-1 & HB-2, SB-1 and SB-2 for Electric locomotives
being manufactured at CLW. Firm may take fabricated panels from
CLW approved sources. The approximate procurement will be Rs 22
to 25 Crore. Interested firms may see these panels in CLW and
collect documents for Expression Of Interest from the Office of
Dy.CEE/Design/CLW/Chittaranjan (Details given below)
after submission of a Bank Draft of Rs. 5000/- (Rupess Five
thousand) only in favour of FA & CAO/CLW/Chittaranjan by 11:00
hours of 16.04.2009. The documents can also be downloaded from
CLW Website clwindia.gov.in and submit the filled up
application along with Bank draft of Rs. 5000/- only. Firms must
submit the details as per the documents Expression Of Interest
like Machinery and Plants, Quality Assurance Plan, their
Performance Statement & Balance Sheet by 12:00 hours of
17.04.2009.

APPEAL TO POST 2006 RETIREES OF CHITTARANJAN LOCOMOTIVE WORKS ,
CHITTARANJAN
Consequent upon VIth Central Pay
commission’s recommendations, pay and pensionary benefits of
post 2006 retirees will be revised. Therefore, Railway servants
of Chittaranjan Locomotive Works who retired on and after
01.01.2006 are hereby advised to submit the following
information and exercise option for addl. Commutation of pension
to the Chief Personnel Officer /CLW, Chittaranjan -713331.

SEMINAR ON VENDOR DEVELOPMENT
For the benefit of all entrepreneurs
desirous of being enrolled as approved venders of CLW.
Consequent to the higher production targets
of locos, CLW intends to widen the vender base for the following
items
-
Small / medium fabricated item.
-
Small machined components.
A seminar with prospective venders is being
arranged on 2nd January, 2009 at 11.00 hrs. in CLW Officers
Club/ Chittaranjan to discuss the requirements of CLW and the
detailed procedure for registration and approval of the
venders.
This will be followed by an exhibition of the
products for which additional venders are needed and a visit to
workshop on 3rd January, 2009 for interested
venders.
